Merellinen Kemi Geocoin (Shiny Silver– Glitter)

Description

Official Merellinen Kemi Mega Event geocoin.

The front side of the geocoin features the event logo, surrounded by a ring displaying the cardinal directions of a compass and animals associated with Kemi, such as a seal, salmon, amphipod, and seagull. The design of the geocoin was created by Christian Mackey.

The back side of the geocoin features an anchor in the center, with sea salmon on both sides. Around the edge runs the text “Kemi – Mega – Merellinen Kemi.” The swallows symbolize a safe journey at sea, and the crown at the top is inspired by the coat of arms of Kemi.

In this version, the surface of the geocoin is polished silver, and the colors are IHE colors. In addition, white and red glitter enamel is used on the reverse side. The geocoin is available in three different versions: Sininen selkä, Oranssi aava and Shiny Silver – Glitter

The geocoin has a diameter of 55 mm and a thickness of approximately 3.5 mm.

The tracking code and the text “Trackable at Geocaching.com” are laser-engraved along the outer edge of the geocoin.
