Official Tar’n’Tech MEGA event geocoin.

This is the Limited Edition version of the Tar’n’Tech MEGA event geocoin series, with only 50 coins produced.

Geokolikko esittää Oulun historiaa tervakaupunkina sekä nykyistä hetkeä teknologiakaupunkina. Geokolikon etupuolelta hallitsee futuristinen TAR’N’TECH-teksti sekä suuri tervatynnyri. Tynnyrin taustalla on piirilevy sekä kehällä kulkee salakirjoitusta  :).

The reverse of the geocoin is dominated by the Tree of Knowledge, with various technology icons hidden among its roots. On the left side of the tree are two small tar barrels, and on the right, a sailing ship, recalling the vessels once built in Oulu. A circuit board pattern can also be seen in the background.

This version is satin nickel, with the background and the front text coated in translucent purple.

This is the largest Finnish MEGA geocoin to date, measuring 60 mm wide and 58 mm high.
